Final session of the Firecracker project was last night! We will be starting work on editing all the film footage with a few of the young people in a week or so. Great project and thanks to Acis for having us on board, thanks also to CGP for the great food and to everyone else who turned up to help. Let’s hope we can do it again next year. 2 Days working with children and young people at Bracebridge community centre on a project to create artwork to decorate 2 empty shop units on the Manse estate in South Lincoln. The project was organised by the County Council and you can see lot’s more pictures on our Facebook page…
Spent the day with children at Hawtonville Young Peoples Centre today painting a mural on boards on how they feel about their play service, what they like to do and how they spend their time. Very fun experience and a lot of positivity. Will be in Mansfield on Friday to do a similar thing there…
Anybody aged 11-16 and in the Gainsborough area, feel free to come on up to Park Springs over the next 4 Friday evenings 5-7pm and take part in some great sports and arts activities with us! We’ll be helping to create some graffiti artwork and running a film workshop so we can create a DVD at the end! Best of all it’s FREE and you get fed too! See you there…
4 hours and over a hundred young people at the Involved? event in Oakham and we painted a 16 foot long group mural. Fun times, thanks to all that had a go, came and said hi and to Sally and all the other staff for having us along and feeding us burgers!…
